- Military and Security Installations: Our coatings are used extensively in military vehicles, equipment, and facilities. They help to fortify structures against explosion shockwaves and debris, providing an extra layer of protection in conflict zones and other hazardous military contexts.
- STEP 1: First off, bare concrete bricks were subjected to projectile shots from a .38 Special and 9mm firearm.
- STEP 2: Next, the concrete structure was coated in 1/8 inch of ArmorThane's protective coating. Gel blocks were positioned in front of the blocks, and the same guns were shot at the target. This time, the bullet was unable to penetrate the structure, and in fact, it reversed course back into the gel before finally making its final exit out the back end of the block.
