Now, let’s discuss what we have prepared for a test. We are taking this car door and coating it with ArmorThane bedliner material. We will then exercise our 2nd Amendment rights and have some fun—err….I mean, do some serious testing and record that data!

We have chosen to do a simple spray-and-shoot test. We are doing this because there are plenty of videos in which companies will spray layer after layer, apply an additive, and then layer some more material again. We feel this is unrealistic and a bit misleading. In real life, most people will go with the typical thickness of a bedliner. We want to show what our material can do without additives to get a realistic look at what you will be getting. We have tested with three thin layers. We tested hard and soft materials and layered them on top of one another. The test proved to be a success. None of the bullets from the 9mm handgun were able to penetrate the material.
