More Details
Features & Typical Uses:
♦ Protects from color changes.
♦ Allows custom color matches.
♦ Refinish previously applied topcoats.
♦ Finish coat over an ArmorThane truck bedliner system.
Application:
UV ColorCoat should be applied at the rate of 1 gallon per 300 square feet (0.135 liters/m ). It can be applied using a brush, resin core roller, or HVLP spray gun at 35- 45 psi, or gun manufacturer’s recommendation.
Start applying the topcoat on the vertical surfaces/sides first from top to bottom, and then the horizontal surfaces/floors, to have the even, uniform application.
A normal application requires two coats. Ensure first coat is tack free before applying next coat. A third coat may be necessary for maximum protection. Proper care should be taken to ensure complete coverage of each coat without voids or pinholes. If applied too thick, the coating may bubble. The coat should be applied evenly without puddles, bare or thin spots.
